🎵 I have a dream (한글 가사)
[Verse 1]
[Chorus]
I have a dream,
[Outro]

🎵 I have a dream (English Lyrics)
[Verse 1]
Sitting together in a quiet room, holding each other tight
Watching the children grow under the soft morning light
To love simply, to raise them gently with tender care
We too had a beautiful dream we used to share
[Verse 2]
Then a cold shadow fell without a single warning
Like poison in the well, bringing endless mourning
Snatched away at birth, the baby’s fragile cry
Behind uniforms and sacred robes, they hid the truth so high
In a living hell of separation, a father’s weeping sound
Witnessing his final breath this past April on the cold ground
[Chorus]
I have a dream, yes we had a dream
A flickering spark of memory in the darkest stream
For the stolen souls and those who stand for the right
May a warm breeze arrive to heal the pain tonight
[Outro]
When the veil of deception is torn apart at last
The rightful dream we carried through the bitter past
Will finally rise as the truth, holding fast

dDecree Zheng, Donghee) I Have a Dream: ‘Comforting the Souls of a Million Indigenous People and My Father’
【 State Fraud and State Crime by Zheng, Donghee: Study Epilogue 】
Although it is a very heavy subject, it is a crucial topic that we must study at this current juncture. Therefore, following Part Ⅰ, I have shared the representative cases of state fraud and state crime in Part Ⅱ over two sessions today. Now, this is the epilogue, “I Have a Dream: ‘Comforting the Souls of a Million Indigenous People and My Father’.”
Four songs are attached below.
🎵 I Have a Dream (Korean Lyrics Translated to English)
[Verse 1]
Sitting together in a small room, holding each other tight,
Watching a child grow up in the morning sunlight.
We, who simply wanted to love modestly and raise them ordinarily,
Also had a quietly shimmering dream.
[Verse 2]
One day, suddenly, the shadow of cold rules fell upon us,
Hands rushing in cruelly, like poison spread in the village well.
As soon as the baby held in our arms was born, they took it away by force—
The police, the soldiers, and
The faces of the silent sanctuary.
A father’s deeply resentful scream echoed through the hellish separation.
On that day, shedding tears while watching his last remaining figure in that cruel past April.
[Chorus]
I have a dream, yes, we had a dream.
A small flame that never goes out even within the veil of deception and violence.
Upon all the wounded souls of this land who lonely cry out for the truth,
May a warm rest now come to wipe away their tears.
[Outro]
On the day when all the fake veils are completely torn apart,
The rightful dream that we cherished in our hearts
Will finally blossom into a brilliant truth.
